Corporate Updates – 09-03-2016

MCA – Regional Director:

ICSI has received communication from MCA advising all the ICSI members to leave the premises of the office of Regional Director, North i.e. Sh. A. K. Chaturvedi, B-2 Wing, 2nd Floor, Paryavaran Bhawan, CGO Complex, New Delhi – 110003 at 1.30 P.M. on 09.03.2016 due to the security reasons on the occasion of CISF Day-2016. All the hearings scheduled on that day will be taken in the first half of the day. In case of any inconvenience in the 1st half, adjournment may be taken from the office of RD(North). Stakeholders are requested to plan their visits accordingly.

CBDT:

Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley has announced the rollback of proposed tax on withdrawals from employees’ provident fund. The Government in view of representations received said it would like to do a comprehensive review of the proposal and therefore withdrew the proposal. However, the 40% rebate proposed for the NPS will continue. NPS is at present fully taxed on withdrawal. This is a relief for NPS subscribers. The government has also withdrawn the proposal to limit tax-free contribution by the employer to the provident fund of an employee to Rs 1.5 lakh per annum.

News from NIRC of ICSI

The Corporate Membership Scheme of NIRC of ICSI is open for the Financial Year 2016-17 and the last date for receipt of Corporate Membership fee with early bird incentive is 31.3.2016. The scheme is available for two options – Option-I : Corporate Membership Scheme –(Delhi); Option-II : Corporate Membership Scheme – (Delhi & Chapters). Anyone becoming a member under the Scheme shall be entitled to attend all the paid programs (Except workshops and residential programs) organized by NIRC (& Chapters) free of charge throughout the year. The payment for Corporate Membership can be made through following options:

Option 1 – Cash deposit at NIRC Building, 4 Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, New Delhi.

Option 2- NEFT transfer to NIRC- ICSI Saving Bank Account No. SB- 90062010039267 Syndicate Bank, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi – 110008, RTGS/ NEFT IFSC – SYNB0009006.

Option 3 – Online payment through payment gateway.

Option 4 – Cheque/DD towards the Corporate Membership Fee for the requisite amount be drawn in favour of “NIRC of the ICSI” and sent to Regional Director, NIRC of ICSI, 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area , New Delhi-110005.
