DGFT:
DGFT with an intention to ease the doing business in India has introduced the simplified process of Import & Export of goods. Accordingly, only three documents are now prescribed for Exports & Imports effective 01-04-2015 viz Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice cum Packing List & Shipping Bill/Bill of Export / Bill of Entry. Further for export or import of specific goods or category of goods, which are subject to any restrictions / policy conditions or require NOC or product specific compliance’s under any statute, the regulatory authority concerned may notify additional documents for purposes of export or import.
Patents, Designs & Trade Marks
The Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, in order to expand the paperless environment has extended the online filing system for the filing of new applications for registration of Designs through official portal of the authority. The e-filing facility includes the facility of online payment through various modes and the existing DSC can also be used for login and authentication into e-filing system of designs.
