SEBI:

SEBI in a welcome step has notified the Securitiesand Exchange Board of India (Employees’ Service) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015. These regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. According to the new provisions relating to Special hardship leave for female employees who has confirmed in the services of the Board and having completed five years of service in the Board. A female employee may avail special hardship leave as extension of maternity leave irrespective of completion of service of five years in the Board and approval of the special hardship leave shall be the sole discretion of the Board, depending upon the grounds including the administrative exigencies of the Board, reason for which the leave is sought for and merits of individual cases.

SEBI:

SEBI with an intention to guide market participant on SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, has come out with the FAQ on SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013. These FAQ’s are compilation of 35 questions along with their answers and has covered almost all queries on laws governing the Investment Advisors and applicability of the guidelines.
