SEBI:
SEBI has notified the SEBI (DEPOSITORIES AND PARTICIPANTS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2014 which shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. Through this amendment SEBI has approved & allowed the Depository Participant to act in more than one depository without obtaining separate certificate of registration subject to approval by such other depository. The depository shall inform the Board about the approval granted by the other depository and will also required to pay the fees separately for each depository.
MCA:
MCA has invited applications for filling up one post of Member (Judicial) and one post of Member (Technical) in the Company Law Board Benches located at any of the four places viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai depending on the requirement and would have no choice of station. A person shall not be eligible for appointment as Member unless he/she has completed the age of 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Applications in the prescribed format duly completed should reach to MCA by 16th January, 2015.
