NCLT:
NCLT has decided to issue the dress code for the President, Members, Authorised Representatives and for the parties in person while appearing before the Tribunal under the Rule 51 of the NCLT Rules, 2016. The dress code so prescribed is required to be followed with immediate effect. According to the Order, all Authorised Representatives shall appear before the Tribunal in his professional dress (as recommended by their parent institute), if there is no such dress then in a suit or button up coat over a trouser and for females in a coat over white or any sober coloured saree or in any other sober or decent dress. The ICSI has also prescribed the dress code for its members, the professional dress for male members will be Navy Blue suit and white shirt with a tie (preferably of the ICSI) or navy blue buttoned-up coat over a pant or a navy blue safari suit and professional dress for female members will be saree or any other dress of a sober colour with a Navy Blue jacket. Further, Members in employment may wear the dress/uniform as specified by the employer for all employees or if allowed the aforesaid professional dress.
DVAT:
Department of Trade and Taxes has extended the last date of filing online/hard copy of first quarter return for the year 2016-17 in Form DVAT-16, DVAT-17 and DVAT-48 along with required annexure/ enclosures to 31/08/2016. However, the tax due shall continue to be paid in the usual manner as per the provisions of Section 3(4) of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. Further, it has been provided that dealers filing their returns through digital signature need not file hard copy of the return / Form DVAT-56.
