MCA establishes ‘Serious Fraud Investigation Office’ under Section 211 of the Companies Act, 2013. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 211 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby establishes the Serious Fraud Investigation Office earlier established vide Government of India’s Resolution No. 45011/16/2003-Admn-I dated the 2nd July, 2003, as the Serious Fraud Investigation Office with effect from the date of publication of the notification in the Official Gazette.
DVAT:
DVAT Authorities is envisaging that GST is likely to be rolled out with effect from 1st April 2016 and accordingly all the TINs of dealers shall be replaced with the GSTIN on the basis of their declared PAN details in the department. Further, the department has observed that in respect of various registered dealers the PAN details are either not available in the database of the Department or invalid as per the CBDT Database. The list of such dealers has been made available on the department website. All such dealers are requested to furnish correct details of PAN to the department positively by 12th August 2015 through online, failing which the department will take necessary action as per DVAT ACT, including the initialization of cancellation proceedings .
