MCA:

MCA has notified the Amendments in Schedule III to the Companies Act, 2013 to protect the interest of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Accordingly "Trade payables" shall now mean (A) total outstanding dues of micro enterprises and small enterprises; and (B) total outstanding dues of creditors other than micro enterprises and small enterprises. Further, para 6 under the heading "Notes: General Instructions for preparation of Balance Sheet", various other details relating to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises shall be disclosed like the principal amount and the interest due thereon, the amount of interest paid / due & payable/ accrued & remaining unpaid etc by the buyer in terms of section 16 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

SEBI has issued circular relating to the Continuous Disclosure Requirements for Listed Entities, under Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. In order to enable investors to make well-informed investment decisions, timely, adequate and accurate disclosure of information on an ongoing basis is essential. The Listing Regulations divide the events that need to be disclosed broadly in two categories. The list of events falling under both categories are also been prescribed through this circular. This circular is issued under regulations 30 read with regulation 101(2) of Listing Regulations and shall come into force 90 days from September 02, 2015 i.e. date of notification of Listing Regulations.
