Secretarial Audit – ICSI:
The ICSI with an intention to facilitate the members to conduct Secretarial Audit has compiled Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on conducting the Secretarial Audit. These FAQ have been adequately answered and will certainly help the PCS and Corporate in the process of Secretarial Audit. Due care has been taken in the preparation of these FAQs, however cross check with original source and Professional Judgment is advised by the ICSI.
DSC – CCA:
Office of the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) has observed that Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) are being issued to multiple subscribers on a common e-mail id and accordingly with an intention to safeguard the interest of the stakeholders issued directions to all Certifying Authorities (CA) in this regard. All CAs are now required to put in measures to ensure that different subscribers are not having same e-mail ID’s in DSC and Multiple DSCs having same e-mail id may be issued where it is established that these multiple DSCs are being issued to a single subscriber. It might create some administrative problems for professional initially but the direction seems to be safeguarding the interest of the professional.
