SEBI:
SEBI after due deliberations and consultations with the market participants, has laid down the procedure for tendering and settlement of shares through stock exchanges. This circular shall be applicable to all the offers for which Public Announcement is made on or after July 01, 2015. For all impending offers, acquirer/ promoter/ company shall have the option to follow this mechanism or the existing one. Stock Exchanges shall also take necessary steps and put in place necessary infrastructure and systems for implementation of the mechanism and to ensure compliance with requirements of this circular.
CSR – FAQ:
ICAI has released the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with an intention to give clarifications regarding treatment of CSR spending in the books of accounts and disclosures in the Financial Statements. All CSR activities should also be in line with the CSR Policy approved by the Board in line with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. With companies preparing to disclose details about CSR expenses in their annual filings, these FAQs will help the professionals with regard to reporting of such expenditure.
